Adrienne Grierson  - Filmmaker and Presenter

Born in NZ, raised in Fiji and went to boarding school in Australia.
Ran away in the bowels of a ship to London at the first opportunity. Spent four years living in NYC.  MA  in Screen Documentary at Goldsmiths University. Travels regularly to New York, Australia and Brazil.


Mauricio Osaki  - Cinematographer

Mauricio Osaki  graduated from in Film from the University of Sao Paulo. He has filmed documentaries and short fiction.  His other work includes Tokyo Story -  Documentary Short and  Springtime - Fiction short. His films can be viewed here


Karen Boswall  - Sound


Karen Boswall is a part-time lecturer in Visual Anthropology at Kent University and an independent film maker. She lived and worked in Mozambique from 1993 – 2007 making award winning documentaries for international broadcast and for educational purposes worldwide. 


Sergio Vega Borrego - Editor

Sergio Vega Borrego is a UK National Film and Television school  editing graduate.
He edited the award winning film Goleshovo by Ilian Metev.  A documentary about a small village in Bulgaria where a handful of old women and a forgetful priest get by without telephone, water or link to the outside world.


Angel Perez-Grandi - Sound Design

Angel is a freelance Sound Editor and Sound Effects Recordist extraordinaire. After completing an MA in Sound Design at Bournemouth University, he moved to London to work on ITV's 'Primeval' and 'Kingdom' series. He has several films and documentaries under his belt and likes to spend his free time chasing sounds around the globe.

Joao Antonio de Souza Filho  - Translator and runner

Joao Antonio has a degree in linguistics.


Tim Lambert - Directorial advisor

Tim Lambert is a UK director with wealth of successful documentaries under his belt. One of his most recent gems was Guns, Germs and Steel, a three-hour spectacular produced by National Geographic and PBS.
